Information

“He will comfort us in the labor and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the LORD has cursed.” Genesis 5:29

It’s Labor Day this weekend, and I was surprised recently to discover that Labor Day has been a holiday for over 120 years! Labor and toil go all the way back to Genesis and the beginning of sin. Nonetheless, God gave us work even in the perfect world of the Garden of Eden, so work in itself is a good thing. Jesus’ redemption of the world also includes redeeming the activity of work. So as we labor and toil each day, we should remember that work is not a bad thing! We simply must use it and our time on earth to accomplish God’s work now and prepare us for eternity.

Please be praying for us as we are in the process of writing a grant, and specifically that, if it is God’s will, we would receive the grant! It is a long and detailed process, and everyone working on it would be very grateful for your prayers. Thanks. :)

Happy Labor Day!
